NTSB calls for 757 inspections

The NTSB wants airlines to inspect their Boeing 757 jetliners for fatigue cracks and improperly installed parts. U.S. airlines operate nearly 700 757s. A panel that separated from the wing of a 757 jetliner in March prompted the NTSB to call for the one-time inspections.
