1:1 initiative includes shift to student-driven teaching

A Catholic schools system in Indiana is adopting one-to-one computing programs for junior and senior high-school students this fall, providing each student with a netbook to use in class and at home. The students will access course materials online, and teachers will shift their focus away from a traditional lecture-style approach to student-driven instruction.
