ADM's SERAP program reaches 60,000 farmers

More than 60,000 farmers have benefited from ADM Cocoa's Socially and Environmentally Responsible Agricultural Practices program, which provides training to cocoa farmers on the Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Indonesia. "Monitoring efforts over a five year period (2007-2012) have shown that farmers participating in the SERAP program have consistently yielded higher quality cocoa beans," said Michiel Hendriksz, ADM Cocoa's sustainability director.
