Lambda Labs API for Google Glass may raise privacy hackles

Lambda Labs is offering an application programming interface to developers who want to add facial recognition to their Google Glass app. The API is a variation on one that is currently in use by 1,000 developers already. Some of the tricks intended -- such as the ability to spot a friend in a crowd -- may inspire the ire of the "privacy caucus," co-founder Stephen Balaban says, but do not violate Google's terms of service.
