OneWind Australia invests $2B in wind projects

OneWind Australia has invested $2 billion to build wind farms in the country and expects some of these projects to be operational by 2015. The company intends to make the most of the decreasing wind power costs in Australia and the country's goal of tapping renewable energy for 20% of its power by 2020. "Compared with other places in the world, wind is quite competitive in this market. ... There's an opportunity to generate good returns," said Michael Toke, the firm's managing director.
