House committee tackles EPA's regulations, economic impact

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson on Tuesday testified during a hearing held by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on a range of regulatory issues, including air regulations and hydraulic fracturing. Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, said that EPA's regulations are hurting employment. "It doesn't matter who I talk to in Idaho -- whether it's Republican, Democrat, independent -- they have a problem with the overzealous regulation of the EPA. It's killing our economy," Labrador said.
