Mexico-Cuba tourism venture could open Cuban travel to U.S. market

Cuba and Mexico's tourism industries have agreed to develop tourism links between the two countries that could open Cuba to the U.S. market. John McAuliff, executive director of the Fund for Reconciliation and Development, said the joint-destination approach complies with U.S. guidelines for Cuban travel, which center on people-to-people exchanges and cultural programs.
