New York AG reportedly expands mortgage-securitization inquiry

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman expanded an investigation into mortgage securitization to include Deutsche Bank, UBS, JPMorgan Chase and four bond insurers, a source said. The investigation already includes Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group. Schneiderman reportedly is looking for information related to claims paid out and litigation or settlements involving mortgage securities.
