Troy-Bilt's campaign fails to beat mowers from Toro, Honda in test

Troy-Bilt recently began a marketing campaign that promotes the mulching capabilities of its lawn mowers to Gen X and Y consumers. The lawn mower brand, which is owned by MTD Products, has made videos that compare the performance of its lawn equipment with models including a machine made by Toro. However, mowers from Troy-Bilt lagged behind equipment from Toro, Craftsman and Honda in a recent Consumer Reports product test.
