ENDA could see markup in July, Harkin says

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee could take action in July on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would ban employment discrimination nationwide based on LGBT status, according to committee chair Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa. The markup of the bill, which has bipartisan support, was expected earlier, but the committee may be waiting until after the Supreme Court rules on two marriage cases, one advocate said.
