Nevada committee OKs online poker bill

Nevada's Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously Tuesday to promote a bill that would establish licensing and operation guidelines for online poker. The bill's sponsor lauded the vote as a move that will unclog the nationwide bottleneck over the legalization of online poker. "The genie is out of the bottle in terms of online gambling," said Assemblyman William Horne, a Las Vegas Democrat.
