BT: Ofcom price caps will cripple U.K. broadband plans

The U.K. telecom regulator's proposed limits last week on what ISPs could charge rivals to access their networks would harm BT Group's ability to invest in high-tech broadband services, the telecom said. BT said it also was disappointed that Ofcom excluded the telecom's huge pension-fund deficit in figuring the cost of operating BT's local phone network.
