Legal expert calls for BIO's involvement in health reform

BIO should take part in White House discussions on health care reform because major decisions could be made in such venues, said Broderick Johnson, a partner at Bryan Cave, at the trade group's annual meeting. Although the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America has been involved in the health care reform debate, it doesn't mean that the group will also look after BIO's concerns, Johnson said.
