Teachers are trained to use robotics in math lessons

Teachers in several California elementary schools participate in the School Robotics Initiative, which trains teachers to guide students through the process of building a robot. The initiative, operated by Cal Poly Pomona, is intended to help teachers use robotics to help make math fun and understandable. Students build the robots, and then teachers help them program the robots using algebra.
