FDA report urges stronger warnings for acetaminophen

An FDA working group released a report urging reduced doses of drugs containing acetaminophen and warnings about liver injury linked to such drugs. The report, which also advises against using acetaminophen in nonprescription combination products such as Tylenol Cold, will be discussed by FDA advisory panels June 29 and 30.
