IASB, short on funds, receives $500,000 from U.S. Financial Accounting Foundation

The International Accounting Standards Board had an operating deficit of $2.1 million last year. The Financial Accounting Foundation, which oversees the Financial Accounting Standards Board, gave the IFRS Foundation, which supervises the IASB, $500,000 to help close the shortfall.
