Fla. moves toward providing one device for every student

The Digital Instructional Materials Working Group, which advises the Florida Department of Education on classroom-technology policies, is recommending the state move to a one-to-one technology environment in schools. State mandates sets a fall 2015 deadline for half of all learning materials to be digital in Florida schools, though the type of devices used are likely to vary by district.
