Nurse-led workshop raises awareness of advance directives

A community workshop on end-of-life care planning led by nurses increased participants' knowledge of advance directives, according to a Salisbury University report presented at a critical care nurses conference. A post-workshop survey found more than 91% of respondents said they would complete an advance directive and discuss it with a loved one.
