Software from New York-based startup Olapic allows e-commerce sites to collect and manage Instagram photos posted by fans for use on company websites. Retailers such as Lululemon, Steve Madden and Nasty Gal are using the service to create photo contests or to ask fans to model products, as well as screen entries. Olapic also recently released an analytics suite to offer insight on click-through rates and trending products.
