Lenovo Group, known for its ThinkPad line of laptops, will make a push to sell smartphones in the U.S. within 12 months, according to Chief Executive Yang Yuanqing. "Smartphones are our new opportunity. As a public company you always have to consider how to grow," he said. Lenovo is the No. 2 smartphone maker in its home market of China.
