The Turkish Pharmacologists Association says price policies imposed by the Health Ministry have led to a shortage of cancer medicines and a thriving black market. The association's secretary-general, Harun Kizilay, said that thousands of cancer patients appeal to his group for cancer drugs, which black marketeers try to sell to hospitals for a huge markup.
