Indiana hospital treats anemic baby with blood substitute

Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., used a blood substitute to treat the anemic premature baby of a couple who refused a blood transfusion for their child for religious reasons. The hospital, however, has a court order giving it the right to transfuse blood if needed to save the baby's life.
