Bombardier unveils maintenance plan for jets

In a plan it says will minimize downtime and costs, Bombardier is creating a maintenance program for its CSeries commercial planes that lengthens the time between checks. After 850 flight hours, the new passenger jets will get aircraft line maintenance and then will undergo base maintenance checks after 8,500 flight hours.
