Retailer Carrefour has implemented Geodashboard from Galigeo across its operations worldwide to improve decision-making related to issues such as retail site selection and sales territories. The program uses Esri's ArcGIS platform to create spacial visualizations of data on interactive maps to help spot trends. "Location analytics is enabling a more refined and deeper understanding of how to improve marketing and other store-level operations. It enriches data for a more intimate understanding of customer relationships, behavior, and needs," Esri's Simon Thompson says.
