DOD denies it's crafting Syrian no-fly zone

There is no plan right now to create a no-fly zone around Syria, the Pentagon says, despite reports that the White House wants the Defense Department to begin working on one. "The Joint Staff, along with the relevant combatant commanders, continue to conduct prudent planning for a range of possible military options," said Pentagon press secretary George Little. Little also said there's no "new military planning effort underway with regard to Syria."
