Global air traffic rose in April, IATA says

Global air traffic increased in April, boosted by passenger demand in emerging markets such as Africa, the Middle East and Asia, according to the International Air Transport Association. "Passenger demand continued to grow in April, extending the positive trend that has been developing since late 2012," said Tony Tyler, IATA director general and CEO.
