Pittsburgh Courtyard by Marriott hotels sold for $50.5 million

Hotel investment firm Inland American Lodging Advisor has purchased two Courtyard by Marriott hotels in Pittsburgh for a combined $50.5 million. The hotels include a 182-room downtown property, sold for $35 million, and a 94-room property in West Homestead, Pa., sold for $15.5 million. The new owner plans $15,000 per-room upgrades for both hotels.
