Maine officials frown at Gulf of Maine offshore wind power project

Maine Gov. Paul LePage questions whether a proposed $20 billion offshore wind project in the Gulf of Maine would reduce the state's reliance on imported oil. Habib Dagher, director of Advanced Structure and Wood Composites Center at the University of Maine, said the state will never run completely on wind energy, but he expects "this will be the least costly form of energy that Maine has access to."
