Marine Corps aviators use iPads to navigate Afghanistan

Airmen with the U.S. Marine Corps are using digital maps loaded onto iPads to find their way around southern Afghanistan. There are so many ground forces in action in Afghanistan that it's no longer physically possible to cram all the charts and graphs into a fighter jet's cockpit, officials say, but the iPad allows pilots to flick through reams of digitized maps without a problem. "It's a game changer," said Capt. John Belsha.
