Nordic diet reduces harmful cholesterol, study says

A plant-based Nordic diet that emphasized fruits and vegetables and restricted meat and sugary foods reduced harmful cholesterol and fat particles in the blood, researchers from Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland reported in the Journal of Internal Medicine. Researchers said the next step is to see if the diet can be used for weight control.
