Small businesses weigh health care options

Small-business owners are considering their options with major provisions of the Affordable Care Act on the horizon. Some companies that intend to offer insurance to employees for the first time will try negotiating supply costs with vendors to absorb the price of providing health care. Others that have considered dropping coverage and paying a penalty may ultimately retain it as a recruiting tool.
