Roche to open new plant to increase Tamiflu treatment production

In response to an overwhelming demand for its Tamiflu flu treatment, Roche announced it would build another production plant in North America later this year. The Swiss manufacturer earlier said it had orders from 25 countries; some would have to wait for up to two years for doses to guard against what the WHO has warned is a real danger of a global pandemic caused by the avian flu.
