N.Y. facility improves services, safety via mobile EMR system

Stony Brook University Medical Center in New York was able to boost patient safety as well as communication and coordination among clinicians after deploying a roaming platform for electronic health records. The Stony Brook Totally Automated Record System can be placed at the nurses' station, patient bedsides and other areas of the hospital, providing staff with interactive access to relevant data.
