A budget shortfall of $1 million and last-minute changes to a plan to extend Dallas's DART light rail line have raised concerns among some officials in Irving, Texas. Plans now call for a track that would eventually connect the Orange Line to the Cotton Belt Rail Line, but some officials note there is no funding set aside for the Cotton Belt.
