Airpush's SDK adds new standard banner ad feature to open apps

The Airpush mobile ad network says it is now on 90,000 applications and paying $4 million a month to developers, Steve Smith writes. Now it wants to increase monetization opportunities by offering a software development kit with a new banner ad format allowing standard ads to display when the app is in use. "Airpush's original value proposition for developers had been its Push ads that gave an app ad exposure even when the app was not open," Smith writes.
