Foxconn, Mozilla teaming up to push into smartphone market

Firefox-maker Mozilla and Foxconn, which makes Apple's iPhone, are joining forces to build smartphones and other devices that use the Firefox OS. Mozilla is eyeing the low-end-device segment with this partnership, Lorraine Luk writes. "We see huge opportunities in the emerging markets where the customers and carriers crave for affordable smartphones," Mozilla's Li Gong says.
