Mich. transit agency signs propane autogas contract to fuel mini-buses

The Mass Transportation Authority in Flint, Mich., has signed a new contract to buy propane autogas to fuel its 57 mini-buses. Officials said the agency plans to increase its autogas vehicle fleet to 92 in September. "So far, we have been very pleased with the performance. The [vehicles] are extremely quiet, and there's a substantial reduction in carbon dioxide we're emitting," said General Manager Ed Benning.
