Del. manager will retire after 3 decades leading resort city

Rehoboth Beach, Del., City Manager Gregory Ferrese plans to retire in December, after 30 years in the position. Ferrese says he counts Streetscape on Rehoboth Avenue, the building of a boardwalk and the city's recognition as a top beach town for families by Parents magazine among his accomplishments. However, he looks forward to taking summer vacations, which heading a resort city does not allow, he says.
