NYC focuses on closing gender gap in STEM courses

Educators in New York City say they are working to engage more female students in science, technology, engineering and math programs to address a lingering gender gap in those subjects. Nationwide, male students continue to dominate STEM programs -- leading to their concentration in such careers.
