Packaging expert on communicating with consumers

"Our industry needs to simplify and think like a consumer," said David Luttenberger, lead judge of the DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation and vice president of CEB Iconoculture. He said consumers rarely see the value in packaging, but that can be changed if the industry learns how to capitalize on ways in which packaging can communicate and create a relationship with the customer.
