Staffing software tracks who can respond to fire calls

The Yarmouth Fire Department in Massachusetts is using TeleStaff software from Kronos to respond to fires more quickly and dispatch the correct first responders. The software tracks the number of firefighters and paramedics available to respond and allows dispatchers to quickly fill in holes if someone has a day off, which could shorten response times, Fire Chief Michael Walker said.
