Survey: Paid internships lead to more job offers, better salaries

College graduates have a better chance of landing a job if they take a paid internship. A survey by the National Association of Colleges and Employers found 63% of 2013 grads with paid internships received at least one job offer. Those with paid internships also had a higher starting salary than grads who did not intern, the survey found. In addition, the top salaries went to those with either bachelor's or master's degrees in fields within engineering, computer science and mathematics.
