Verizon will install Bloom Energy fuel cells in Calif. facilities

Verizon Communications has ordered 10 fuel cells from Bloom Energy that it will use for a data center and switching centers in California. Separately, the company has about 25 employees working at its Innovation Center in Waltham, Mass., where they are developing conceptual products, such as an Internet-connected bicycle.
