Twitter users can get paid for their tweets

Sponsored Tweets is a controversial new offering from Izea (formerly known as Pay Per Post) in which users of the microblogging service Twitter are compensated for distributing brand and product information to their followers. Participants will be paid per tweet or for the clicks they generate.
