The "Down from 51" post-spectrum auction repacking plan backed by broadcasters and most top wireless operators also will be good for consumers, Bob Quinn, AT&T's senior vice president of federal regulatory, wrote in a blog post. The broadcast-wireless plan also has the support of Federal Communications Commission member Ajit Pai and top equipment makers, Quinn noted.
