Lower rates of PAD amputations seen with revascularization

Revascularization was associated with a 40% reduction in amputation rates in patients with peripheral arterial disease, according to research that evaluated 1,906 procedures over two decades. The results were presented at the Society for Vascular Surgery Annual Meeting.
