Paper: ACO shared savings deals lacking among private insurers

A white paper from Premier health care alliance indicated that private-sector insurers appear to be lagging behind Medicare in offering shared savings programs to accountable care organizations. The paper noted that among the ACO deals that offer upside-only shared savings, 57% fall within Medicare while only 21% represent commercial deals.
