Rep. Rogers leads introduction of bill targeting cyberattackers

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., led the introduction of a bill to target computer hackers working for China, Russia or other governments to attack or spy on U.S. firms and agencies. The measure would deny hackers and their family members entry to the U.S. and would allow hackers' assets to be frozen. "Cyber hackers from nation-states like China and Russia have been aggressively targeting U.S. markets, stealing valuable intellectual property, and then repurposing it and selling it as their own," said a statement from Rogers.
