Wal-Mart, Murphy Oil relationship threatened?

Wal-Mart has begun testing its company-owned gas stations, a potential threat to Murphy Oil Corp., which operates more than 800 Murphy-branded stations in Wal-Mart parking lots. A Wal-Mart spokesperson notes that Sam's Club gas stations already are run by the Arkansas-based retailer, and analysts suggest that Murphy's operations at the stores constitute a third of the oil company's revenues but generate little profit.
