CDC flu-virus test, devices from 6 Ga. firms land FDA OK

The FDA has cleared the CDC to sell an in vitro diagnostic tool for the 2009 H1N1 flu virus. The agency also approved devices from six medtech firms in Georgia, including Sol-Millennium Medical's Sol-Care Safety Needle, Sometech's Tender Touch infrared lamp, and Nipro Medical's Elisio-H and Pureflux-H hemodialyzers.
